APPEARANCE.
Chris stands at a respectable six feet and one inch tall. He has his mother's build and chocolate brown hair generally styled up a bit, and his father's stormy eyes — green, instead of Cole's hazel. His fashion choices are incredibly hit or miss: sometimes he'll look perfectly fine, but at other times... don't ask. While he tends to give off an air of confrontation most times, if he lets his guard down it's really easy to see how young he really is. Whatever you think his voice sounds like, I promise you it's higher pitch and softer spoken.

When in his Patrobas form, Chris retains his general bodytype and coloration. His eyes turn completely pitch black, ears become longer and pointed, teeth all turn into sharp rows. He gains two sets of small, Darth Maul-like horns atop his head. Along his face and down his chest are black-colored patterns similar in style to his father, Belthazor's, with a sharp blue outline along the bottom edges of the lines.
PERSONALITY.
When first meeting Chris Halliwell, the overwhelming impression is that of a know-it-all, stubborn young man who clearly has a better idea of what's going on than you do. Part of this is due to him being a detail-oriented go-getter who obviously knows what is important to focus on at any one time, while the other part is a defense mechanism against being judged and spoken down to without chance to defend himself. Having grown up not only as a powerful witch in the Halliwell line but also part-demon, Chris faced many issues in being seen as trustworthy to anyone outside of his family and eventually settled for actions speaking louder than words, even if he can speak some really loud and insistent words sometimes. His canon counterpart had similar issues with gaining trust, but those more had to do with his severe inferiority complexes making it hard for him to know how to stand up for himself in any way but abrasively. Chris is generally a very pragmatic person, willing to do painful, harsh and dangerous things to achieve a good end no matter what might get in the way and that certainly doesn't help others trust him more when all they see is Chris getting his hands dirty. Others' opinions of him do not matter so much as achieving what he means to do. People can think he's a killjoy all they want, but hell if that will stop him hounding them or doing his own thing.

Having grown up in the eternal balancing act of good and evil, this version of Chris has a hard time finding a middle ground for himself. He has something of a martyr complex where he cannot possibly do evil without disappointing his family and going contrary to everything he had been raised to do. This does not mean he will not make difficult choices, simply that his set of morals is incredibly strong lest he let himself fall to temptation as tends to happen in his family. For his canon self, this comes much easier and so Chris has a much more cocky air about anything he does being naturally good; this demonic Chris views it less as a given and more as a choice he is glad to make at every crossroad. Thanks to his insecurities and the pressures of his lifestyle, Chris can be rather emotionally unstable at the best of times. Often times he will blame himself for any faults and look for ways in which he can find redemption, all without really admitting he thinks this way to anyone else affected. Rather, he'll make stupid jokes, sarcastic comments and terrible puns to cover up his uncertainty as he really never learned how to express himself properly. Halliwells are kind of really bad at this emotions thing, and Cole was even worse. A well-adjusted demonic Chris is only about equivalent to a maladjusted whitelighter Chris in canon (thanks to whitelighter Chris having possibly the only emotionally-balanced parent in the whole family, Leo Wyatt, who was a totally shit dad in the original timeline anyway), meaning that this Chris didn't stand a chance.

Because all of the hardships in his life, Chris is not the type to give up. He cannot stand to see something unfinished and especially cannot abide by doing nothing while people around him are hurt. He has always had to fight, whether to be heard or to be trusted or to keep his head above water, and times when he can let his guard down and relax are practically nonexistent to him. This is part of the reason he is so close with his family, Phoebe and Cole especially, as they are the few in the world who would accept him completely for who he is and he can just be even if he still doesn't fully relax. When it comes to his family, his flight instinct is full-power and he will often eventually back down in actual arguments out of fear for alienating them. Strangers are much easier to deal with because, while he does tend to care about people not judging him for his blood, he doesn't terribly care if he comes off as a rude asshole while doing something good. Quick to jump to assumptions, what sets him apart from the sisters' brand of figuring where the blame lies is that Chris will often base his assumptions based on facts that he has collected rather than his feelings on the subject. He has a very good head on his shoulders and he does actually use it sometimes, thank you very much.

Although he's young and prone to making mistakes, Chris often will jump into new projects and press forward without hesitation. This isn't him being foolhardy or rushed, simply him being too too stubborn to hesitate when something is on the line. He will take his time to do things properly if he has to, but he will do them and any mistakes he makes or sees along the way will be used to make his next attempt that much less likely to fail. In his time staying in the past, Chris often had to push forward on his own against a time limit and that only added the pressure to not let up. This made him not very well-liked amongst the sisters, which was something of a shock to the system, but he was able to set it aside long enough to get things done up until his own existence was on the line and he was eventually forced to admit his identity to the family. His heritage had easily given him a complex about being accepted without having to work for it and his family automatically changing their tune when they realized the real implication of his actions threw him off, setting in motion a long struggle of being able to accept their acceptance. At this point in his life, he's coming to realize that sometimes blood doesn't mean anything in comparison to who you really are, but he also doesn't expect anyone else to understand that right off.

All of his struggles and insecurities aside, the good nurtured in Chris is extremely strong. He has a kind and compassionate heart underneath the tough exterior, willing to go the extra miles in the name of helping friends and loved ones, always ready to put himself in some kind of danger for them or those who cannot defend themselves. Of course, this same compassion means he doesn't abide by it when anyone he cares for tries to pull the same self-sacrificing bullshit and he doesn't care if that's a double-standard, dammit. His social graces are rusty and his emotional state hasn't really matured since his father died when he was a young teenager, leaving him in a stage of brattiness and a need to get his own way, which can leave him out of his depth for dealing with people especially if they try to contradict him. When not fighting for his own opinion or standing, Chris is thoughtful and surprisingly calm, and tries to make sure people know he appreciates them through little things. He isn't very good at it, but the thought certainly counts and the people that matter to him seem to get the idea anyway. That's all he really asks for.

His largest fear is to hurt someone he cares about. Even in the face of his cousin taking over the world with his sheer amount of power as Twice-Blessed, Chris refused to kill or injure him in order to take him down and devoted all of his time to saving or neutralizing Wyatt without violence in order to preserve himself and honor the memory of his scattered and dead family. Giving in to his power and falling to the temptation of evil is perhaps the most abhorrent thing Chris can imagine, yet he now knows how freeing it can be on the other side and how simple it would be to not care about it whatsoever thanks to the effects of the spider demon's poison. It makes him warier than ever and instills a hesitation toward immediate action in fear of doing something evil by mistake now that he's tasted it. Even before he had practical experience, Chris's conscience is laden enough that even as a small child he had frequent nightmares of terrible things, often times himself doing the terrible things. That potential for evil will never fully leave him as long as he is part-demon and vulnerable to magical influences, but Chris makes sure to outweigh it with good actions and intentions wherever he can.

On the other side of his fears, Chris has an incredible strength of will. Even when he was faced with disappearing for good, his determination to save Wyatt never wavered and if he really did mess up his own existence, his only hope was for the sisters to take the search seriously and keep the world safe by not giving up. He's faced many hardships and, with the support and memory of his family, come out on top with his conscience in tact. His loyalty is bar none and he would rather die than willingly betray someone close to him. It's getting through the hardened barriers in the first place that is the real challenge.

tl;dr Both versions of Chris, canon and AU, are damaged people. Both have trouble in dealing with others and plenty of issues thanks to their upbringing. Canon Chris finds much more peace in his new timeline where his family now understands his struggles and can help him through as he grows up; this alternate Chris will still have plenty of issues even after everything is said and done thanks to things that simply cannot be changed, such as his magical destiny and who his father is. They both have the same core of stubbornness, loyalty, kindness and sarcasm about them, just tempered in different ways. Same person, different circumstances giving them different values.
HISTORY.
Father died when he turned fourteen, mother and aunt soon followed, world went to shit when his older cousin took it over with all of his supermagic. Went to the past to try and fix it, almost wasn't conceived because Chris is always a fuckup, currently still trying to figure out why Wyatt went evil and how to stop it from ever happening.

Last thing he remembers is being on a demonic reality TV show, very close to ripping it to shreds while thinking the show is the cause of Wyatt's evil. It is not. Boo hoo.

ET CETERA.
Shimmering. (alt) A demonic form of teleportation that is essentially disappearing like a wave of heat. It allows the user to travel from place to place, including other planes like the Underworld or the more eclectic such as appearing inside of prerecorded a movie or television show. I swear to you this has actually happened. Along the Drift Fleet, Chris will be able to move from ship to ship but be completely unable to even access the Marsiva via shimmering.
Telekinesis. (alt) Ability to move things with one's mind, this is Chris's second-most used power after shimmering. He uses his hands to channel it instead of his eyes like his late aunt used to.
Weapon conjuration. (alt) Chris can conjure anything considered a weapon. At the point in his life, he takes this pretty literally and it is mostly bladed or blunt clubbing objects.
Electrokinesis. (alt) This ability allows Chris to generate highly deadly streams of concentrated electricity channeled through his hands. This power is difficult to control, although Chris is skilled at directing it, and can be used to power devices strong enough to withstand the barrage.
Energy balls. (alt) Spheres of energy capable of exploding upon impact. These are very easily controlled in voltage and can be used to merely startle up to going into crazy stupid impressions of spirit bombs.
Pyrokinesis. This ability allows Chris to control flame. He can ignite or put it out at will and throw constant streams of it from his hands. This is a vastly uncontrolled power to Chris due to its demonic sources and he doesn't use it often for destructive means.
Fire balls. (alt) Spheres of burning flame, there is no way to moderate the deadly power they hold. They are meant for damage and death only, and are a symbol of higher status demonic power.
✰ Psychometry. This active power lets Chris read emotions embedded into objects by their owners. He can only read the owner's emotions from when they last held it.
✰ Magic sense. For Chris, this is literally a sixth sense that he has had all of his life. It tends to come on very much like synesthesia with different types of magic appropriating other senses and specific sensations. Good magic is usually sounds or scents, while evil magic is textures/pressures or tastes. Sight is generally reserved for seeing magical phenomena as any other magical being can do.
✰ Hearing when called. As an extension of his magic sense, Chris has the ability to hear when someone calls his name, and can sometimes follow the call back to find who called for him. That second part is pretty hit or miss with everyone not named Phoebe Halliwell or Cole Turner.
✮ Enhanced healing. Even in his mortal form, Chris self-heals at a rate of about four times faster than the average human.
Patrobas. His demonic form, Patrobas is not actually a separate entity. It represents the demon blood in Chris brought out to full, a powerful piece of his heritage, and carries a burden of making it easier for him to get lost in demonic urges such as violence and frivolous magical use.
✮ Enhanced speed, strength, vitality and stamina. When in his Patrobas form, Chris has the physical prowess of an actual demon.
✮ Acidic touch. Patrobas can activate glands which secrete acid at will and eat through almost any matter. This will be deactivated when dealing with major points of structural integrity upon the ships.
